Many of the streets in Campbell Creek have names inspired by the park such as Coyote Drive, Cougar Drive, Grizzly Crescent and Badger Place to name a few. This smaller community is located approximately 20 minutes drive along the Trans Canada Highway from downtown Kamloops. Campbell creek has mainly single family homes but there is a bare land strata development located on Dallas Drive.

Campbell Creek does have public transportation and students attend school in Dallas for elementary students and Valleyview for secondary students. Shopping is not too far away but does require a drive to either Dallas Town Centre or in to the major shopping districts of Kamloops. Campbell creek is located close to the Trans Canada Highway making access to recreational activities very easy. Just a hop skip and a jump to Shuswap Lakes and many other outdoors adventures.
